I found staff pleasant and helpful on arrival. The room has everything you need and more, beds clean and very comfortable. I had my dog with me, and she was happy to have the time in the off leash area. I would stay again. The views are fantastic. Being of the highway, heard no traffic.
People owning this place are very kind.
But the rooms are bit old, carpet is bit smelly, taps in the bathroom were leaking, the leather couches had spaces in b/W the seats, my phone went underneath twice. The night lights in the bedroom are just at the back of the bedhead, too scary to hit the big globes with hands or head while sleeping. Also you can’t sit on the bed because of those lights.
The heater was only in the living room not the bedrooms, luckily there were electric blankets
We stayed 2 nights, terrific. Both of us having mobility issues, Joanne assured us that we would be comfortable in cabin 7. And we were very comfortable. Joanne & Andrew are working their way through cabins doing them up. Yes, there is age on the property, you can't help that. And no you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.BUT!!!! Our cabin, was very clean, bed unreal comfy, and those pillows?OMG, I took a photo of the brand. 1st night ever, that I wasn't kept awake by partners snoring. Towels lovely, kitchen has absolutely everything that you could ask for,and a full size fridge. You could stay for weeks. Quiet area, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Joanne &Andrew. As for travellers? Forget about motel rooms where you step on each other, this is the way to go.
The room was very clean. New microwave. Stove was super clean. Requested to change the room for queen sized beds and the lady on the phone (sorry I forgot the name) tried every possible way and got us what we requested.
Only minor issue was you can hear people talking from the unit next to you, specially at night when ur trying to sleep. This can be easily fixed by soundproof material.
Overall all good. I’ll definitely stay again.
Exceptionally clean rooms. they had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. all the cutlery provided was clean as well. it's not tooo far from the city which is great. the community kitchen had all the utensils for cooking food. the TT, air hockey and the billiards table was a huge plus. we had a great time. the limited interaction that we had with the owners was fine. no complaints, will visit again. recommended.
Overall this place is very good.
The rooms have a bit of a strange layout but they are very comfortable for a solo business trip to the area.
The wifi isn't that good but the hotspot worked fine there.
This kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you need, the beds were very comfortable and there is a nice couch/tv set up
The staff are unbelievably friendly and went out of their way for me, which I am very thankful for.
McDonald's and a pub is near by if you are feeling lazy for dinner.
Stayed here for a few nights. The lady who took my booking was really nice and helpful. The man not so much! Was very abrupt on arrival, then Kids playing in the games room accidentally dropped a pool ball. He come in and growled so I was packing all balls up so kids wouldn’t touch them anymore he come racing in telling me I am lying when I told him we didn’t drop anymore balls. I was trying to tell him we’d collected them all to put them out of kids reach he Carried on to us how they are not Chinese rubbish and they cost him $200, well honestly why put something so expensive in a games room that children will be in? So we didn’t feel comfortable doing anything else at the park. We tried to stay away as much as possible.
The bbq facilities were disgusting. Needed a very good makeover and a decent clean up.
The playground has a very nasty fall hazard not many meters away from it. Really needs a fence around it.
The rooms were ok. Ovens didn’t work real well so waisted a roast trying to cook it.
Stove was good though.
Shower pressure that good we couldn’t keep the water in the shower properly and the shower curtain doesn’t do anything. No toiletries and no room service (which it does say in the main page I think) so we had to go and buy towels.
We moved the bed to pick up a toy that had gone under there. Anyone else don’t look under there. They were not clean at all. Also there is mould coming up in places in the room. Mainly the roof and the toilet seat.
And the toilet paper is only one ply haha!!
Very cheap accomodation and I can see why…
Dog park was good tho.
Very outdated park needs a good makeover.
Very great room but had some issues with the bunk bed some stuff in the room was old need an update and service was really bad the staff make me feel dumb which I didn't really like
